Welcome bags are a great way to welcome guests to your wedding weekend. We’ve compiled some suggestions on what to include in your bags that kick off the wedding activities. 

The most important item is your weekend itinerary! This gives guests all the details they need to navigate the weekend events and gives them some direction on how to get around, where to go, and what to expect. 

We suggest using a nice tote or market basket they can use in the future as your welcome bag vessel. Customizing your totes is a great way to personalize the gift. Usually, your stationer can provide a digital file of your monogram, a venue illustration, or just your names and date that can be added to any canvas tote. 

Inside, you’ll want to include water bottles (or boxes!), something salty & something sweet (we like to stick to local companies for this), a pashmina for colder months (find them on Etsy!), a hand fan for warmer months, a hangover emergency kit (try Amazon!), and something personal like a small bottle of your favorite wine, a koozie, or something from a small business that’s local to the wedding location.
